We all know there is more information about diet and nutrition out there now than there probably ever has been. And I get it, it's flipping confusing! One source will report it's okay to eat a certain food, before the next source says not to. All of this has left us feeling helpless and that we can do no right... but I'm truly very happy to tell you that isn't the case!

What I believe we can do is work together so that you're equipped with the knowledge and tools to feel empowered, and successfully be able to look past all the pseudo-science and bad nutrition marketing out there. This will mean you can go about smashing your goals safe in the knowledge that they're based on real, scientific evidence.

Because we're working together at all times, I'll be on hand at key points along your journey to help you learn and expand your awareness of the basic principles of nutrition in order to transform your physique. However long your journey, coaching shouldn't take any more than 3-6 months.

My coaching is different to anything you've probably experienced before. There are no group meet-ups and weigh-ins, no points system,  and I won't be giving you a generic meal plan and seeing you on your way. What you'll experience is a thorough, personalised process with ongoing support for as little or as long as you need it.

Getting started

  • Once we connect, I'll ask some probing questions about your current situation, relationship with food, activity levels, any health-related or dietary issues etc. 
  • If I feel I'm best-placed to support you, we'll set up an online video consultation so we can chat through and agree goals that are specific to you, that we can measure and track progress on, and most importantly, goals that are realistic with your circumstances and lifestyle. We'll discuss any potential obstacles and challenges, fears, dreams... the works!
  • From that, you'll receive a personalised plan to follow. This plan will be your bible throughout the process, containing all the vital information you need and with information based on evidence. While it's important that you're open-minded about doing things differently to the way you might have done them before, I won't be pushing you to embark on anything you're not completely comfortable with. 

Ongoing coaching

  • We will agree on a regular check-in which would ordinarily be weekly over email; you can ask me about anything that's bugging you, or anything you're not certain about, shout about successes and discoveries, or simply tell me how you're feeling! We'll also have a monthly video call check-in to have more of a dialogue, assess goals, and maybe even set new ones.
  • Most people will need between 3-6 months of support, some a bit less, some a bit more. You won't be obliged to sign a contract, or agree to a minimum term. We'll work together for as long as it takes whether that's 1 month or 12... coaching with me is for as long or as little as you feel you need me around.

The point is, we'll be working together. You won't be alone at any point in the process.

Historically I was always mindful of what I ate and exercised regularly, but two years ago I started a new job that involves a long commute and lots of international travel. The change in routine had a knock on effect on my diet and fitness, and before I knew it I had gained weight, was struggling to get to the gym and felt I had no time or headspace to look after myself.
